Adam Thurston groundhop at the Cardiff City Stadium

Vlogger Adam Thurston heads to the Welsh capital at Leeds were in Town. In the away end with mate Matt the groundhopper from Bristol gets the full away day experience in amongst the very local 2000+ away support. (Warning, as you can expect there are a few choice words from the stands!)

Ground Ratings:

Atmosphere 4/5: It was an incredible atmosphere with the away fans which was where I was located but the home atmosphere wasn’t up to much so that is why I haven’t given it the 5!

Location 2.5/5: From Bristol it is an easy journey but as it is with all new builds, the are always designed to be out in the sticks as far out of the city centre as possible.

Value for money 3/5: £24 is steep but I expect Leeds fans think that is a bit of a bargain compared to what they are normally forced to pay!

Character 2/5: Not a lot of character there. Poor atmopshere, empty seats and no history at the stadium. I have been for a couple of Wales games which were great. I just wish I could have gone to Ninian Park!

Stewarding 5/5: If you don’t know they are there, they are doing their job correctly.

Over the course of the season Adam is aiming to attend a different football match every single week and share his experience in and around the stadium.
