Luzhniki2008 visited Bloomfield Road on 25/01/2012

Game watched: Blackpool 2-3 Man Utd

Blackpool have only been in the Premier League for one season – 2010-11, so my visit there as an away fan supporting Manchester United’s was a memorable one. Tickets for this were one of the most difficult to come by, with an allocation of less than 1500 in a temporary stand along the side of the pitch. Since 2000, Bloomfield Road has been rebuilt in stages and is completely unrecognisable to how it used to be. There is still one temporary stand, the East Stand, which is covered and has temporary seating in place. This is where away fans are housed.

Bloomfield Road is right in the centre of Blackpool and all it's attractions so is a great place to go, if you want to make it an overnight or full weekend away trip. There is loads of parking by the ground too and it is easy to find by road off the M55 Motorway.
