Game watched: Northampton Town 0-0 Notts County

Despite seeing a nil-nil draw and Notts getting off the bottom of the table, our overall experience was rather good. On arrival we waited for the Notts players coach to turn up, so we had a game of who’s playing from the Northampton side. We only recognised a couple of them and were happy to see our boys turn up. Reilly was still shy round Steady, which I pointed out to him and being the top bloke he is, tried again to have a conversation. Managed to get Reilly’s 2nd shirt signed by Matt Tootle as well, who was very nice and patient waiting to undress Reilly of all his tops as it was raining, didn’t get a photo though. Too busy getting Reilly’s shirt out. So into the ground, the steward on the turnstile was very nice explaining to Reilly where his seat was, even though he couldn’t see him behind the turnstile. We decided to get a Burger and Pie when we got in and had a better look at the ground. I can’t help thinking that on a nicer day, the bank behind the end we were facing, would be full of people watching for free. Good if your a Northampton fan and save loads of money. Generally a nice little ground that could benefit from being bigger.
