Game watched: Luton Town 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Easy to get to ground from train and therefore from London. Wanted to get to a game in each round of the cup which I failed at in the second round but nevertheless went for an FA Cup 3rd round replay. Maybe not as big an atmosphere or optimism from the home fans as I would have expected as they are flying in League 1 for a club of their size and drew with Sunderland on the weekend. But in fairness their manager just changed and maybe like me there were some tourists in the crowd (it was near if not a sell out so I suspect so!). Nice atmosphere in and around the ground, traditional football league ground with a portakabin club shop but no issues with that! They call it character! Biggest challenge in the Kenilworth stand was that part of the upper is effectively in the lower and has the same row letters, so loads of people were mistaking row e in upper for row e in lower, quite understandably. Game was good, Wednesday dominated first 30, Luton found their feet, a League May separate these sides but actually only about 10 places in the football pyramid do and that was clear. Luton should definitely have scored in the final 20, total onslaught of the Wednesday goal without reward!
