Game watched: Cambridge United 1-2 Lincoln City

Cambridge is a typical lower league ground which has some great character.  We arrived by train and the walk to the ground took around 35 minutes down various back streets via a retail park!  Outside you could see that the ground was very old but good old!  Entry was very simple, the stewarding was very friendly as well.  We picked to sit as opposed to the terrace.  The seated area was a modern stand with no blocked views, albeit it being about 10 yards away from the pitch.  That said this gives opportunity to develop when required.  The terraces were very traditional and looked great with the atmopshere being generated by both fans one to remember.  The quirky party of the ground is that 3 floodlight pylons are set square, with the final one being at an angle!.  Great ground and day out.
