Game watched: Rotherham United 0-3 Southend United

Delighted to see the Millers playing in their home town once more and the New York Stadium is well placed for both the town centre and access to the M1.  A nice neat stadium with good facilities.  The sound of police helicopters accompanied most of the game (as a result of a political rally taking place nearby) but the first half was something of a stalemate.  Sadly Steve Evans' touchline ban meant that the jovial Scot missed a second half demolition by the visitors - as unexpected as it was welcome.
