Game watched: Huddersfield Town 3-1 Yeovil Town

This was the last game on a tour I did with my daughter. She had her winter break week at school and we managed to see four games in five days. We had spent the day before record hunting in Halifax. I have heard that the shop has now moved to Huddersfield.

Huddersfield Town had been relegated from the Second Division the season before and they would miss out on automatic promotion on goal difference to Torquay United at the end of this season. They made it to the inaugural League One season anyhow as they beat Lincoln in the semi and Mansfield Town in the final (4-1 on penalties).

Pawel Abbott (the player profile in the match program) gave the home team the lead in the first half and Danny Schofield scored two more in the second half before Darren Way got one back for the visitors. This was a Tuesday game so there were not that many in green and white to cheer for the goal. Lee Johnson, the Bristol City manager, was in Yeovil's team.
