Game watched: Fulham 1-1 Leeds United

Sixth game in six days on this October 2015 tour. My Swedish buddies and I had watched Arsenal beat Bayern Munich 2-0 the evening before. We went down to Putney Bridge around 5 and managed to find a restaurant that would accept us without a reservation. La Pizzica, a better than average pizzeria, was the answer to our dinner speculations. The capriciosa and the Moretti lagers were great. After dinner we found a pub that also served away fans. The interesting thing about their beer on tap was that it was so weak. I wondered whether they had deliberately ordered it since it was a Leeds game.

The game itself was not much to write about. We were in the Riverside Stand and there was a goal in each half. Dembele opened the scoring for Fulham and Chris Wood was lucky to see a soft penalty land in the net off Joe Lewis' hands to make it 1-1. It was one of eight appearances that Lewis made for Fulham.

After the game we split to go to our hotels only to meet the next morning at Euston for a trip to Liverpool.
