Game watched: Rotherham 0-1 Wycombe Wanderers

Good to cross another dropped club off my 92. I had watched Wycombe play Rotherham at Millmoor some years ago, but they moved to a new stadium a short distance away (we could see the old ground from our seats in the new stadium, which is great. Right in the town centre, with free Saturday parking close by. A loud pa system and a very good, flat pitch with good view from all seats. A large screen up one corner showed irrelevant clips and scrolling scores.

The thing I liked most about the New York stadium is its close proximity to the historic old ground, so fans weren't uprooted when the club moved. I just hope that the club can afford its upkeep. Too often small clubs' ambitions for a better stadium have ruined the club.
