Game watched: Newcastle United 0-0 Norwich City

From the away end, view of the city is better than the view of the pitch! The ground is well located and it’s in a great city, just a shame where they house the away end - assume it’s to do with home advantage, but the only time they made noise was after a 55th and 56th minute substitution and then towards the end for a couple of corners - summarising the atmosphere was dreadful. Mince and onion pie and Kingston press cider were decent enough, the concourse area was well sized, although the 140 steps probably meant most people were either still travelling up them or in need of a seat by the time they made it there. Not too much to report on the match, Norwich were the better team, made the better chances, fine margins again costing us taking 3 points. Newcastle’s 2 banks of 4 worked well to kill our space and make it hard work to breakdown. Went to a craft beer place down the Quayside and then the Shark Club before the game!
