Game watched: Everton 2-0 Norwich

Drove then train to Liverpool like street - walked for 45 mins to ground - well signposted (admittedly for Anfield but knew how close they were). Brilliant historic first view of the ground from the walk, nice feel outside the ground, lots of people standing or milling around but no issues. Inner concourse a bit tight but understandable due to age of stadium. Got a SCOUSE PIE and an oasis - scouse pie was large and decent - certainly filled a hole. Seating area was tight, ended up with the seat next to me not being filled, which was a relief! Wooden pull down seats so not the most comfortable but fine for the away end mostly. Not much noise from the Everton fans even when winning. View was good although some pillars in the way - again that’s the feel and effect of some less modern stadiums but preferable to a bog standard bowl! Easy exit and safe walk back. Overall a good first away day since COVID despite the result.
