Game watched: Charlton Athletic 0-1 Norwich City

Travelled from Reading with my partner. Easy enough drive, final stretch was a bit busier and then trying to find options to park that didn’t have restrictions. Went to the Anchor and Hope pub on the riverside of the Thames, had a beer outside in the sun. Then to the ground, small but decent outside space before going into the stand. Decent numbers as ever from the travelling support especially as it was a cup game. We had a drum for first time I’ve ever known! Charlton fans got into in spells, compared to Palace which are touted as great atmosphere, I actually thought the Charlton fans were louder when they got into it. We were so poor first half, Charlton should have been ahead. Then rang the changes and improved, but they were still a threat in attack. Finally got the goal and all was good with the world, but Charlton hit the bar with the final moments of the game, so we really did cling on!
