Game watched: Coventry 2-4 Norwich City

Lol. Norwich 3 nil up after 19 minutes. We were still on our way into the ground. Had to pick up furniture in Birmingham prior to the match. A combination of issues of moving the furniture, fog and ice delaying us on the roads, meant we listened to the radio for the first 15 minutes. By that stage we were 2-0 up! Glad we had scored and were winning but a bit broken we weren’t in the stadium to enjoy it. By time we got in it was 3-1 and the Cov fans were singing! We had just passed some fans on our way in saying there is no coming back from that. As soon as we got in position, Cov scored again. Then there was a bit of a lull, but it was still a good game with chances and opportunities at both ends. Thankfully Norwich scored in the second half so we got to see one Norwich goal for 300 miles of travel and a few hundred quid spent. Also got a pic and a chat with club legends Darren Huckerby and Adam Drury, which would have been my one takeaway had we not scored! Ground was easy, parking was great, although arriving 15 mins after kick off meant no problems with any traffic and got away smoothly after too. Didn’t get to sample a programme, beer or pie, so have to go again for that! 2,700 away supporters, at final whistle it was bouncing. Nice tribute paid from NCFC squad to Canary supporter Amber who passed away from brain tumour during the week at the end of the game too. These players have a special heart. Roll on the rest of the season - Wagner’s at the wheel!
