Game watched: Hull 1-2 Norwich

Norwich won, so that’s a start! First one in 4 away games this season for me. Easy drive into Hull, easy walk from Premier Inn City Centre to ground (45 mins but mostly straight). Tried to hunt down a Greek Tom and Luke had been but failed on that one so ended up with haddock and chips. A Kingston press berries bottle in the ground. Interesting to see a Turkish flag raised at the ground - guessing it’s for the owners? For a fairly new ground it felt like it had a bit more character than some of the others, don’t know of that’s because it’s different sizes at different ends still. Light show in build up was excellent, felt like it raised the atmosphere massively. First half was dull, baring an excellent goal from Jonny Rowe. Norwich then got a second int he 87th minute but still had to cling on as they conceded in 91st, can never just enjoy a win with no stress!! Then walked home, felt safe, although a lot of Hull fans did leave after our second so missed their goal and the tense finish. Lots of good pubs around and some old looking ones as well, but wasn’t for me tonight with parkrun in the morning!
