I was really looking forward to this one. So much so I took my 8 month pregnant wife with me. Mistake! I had accidentally booked tickets in the North stand (back row) and right next to the away fans. It seems this is where the "hardcore" Wednesday fans are located. All Wednesday fans stood up which meant my pregnant wife couldn't see a thing. Thankfully after asking 3 stewards they agreed to move us. What followed was farcical. We could not get out! The Wednesday fans had blocked the aisles so we had to be escorted around the back of the stand and out another exit. How this is acceptable at any ground I have no idea?! How it's acceptable at Hillsborough given the tragic events of 1989 is nothing short of appalling. It totally over shadowed the experience. A shame as the stadium itself is good. As a result Bramall Lane wins hands down.
