Euro 96 Quarter Final - had to go to see the amazing Dutch support for myself as it had looked incredible on tv - it looked like someone had spraypainted all the fans with orange paint = awesome sight + it was intruiging to see the Dutch sing English football songs.  When it was 0 0 game went into extra time, so I hoped and got penalties (the game would have ended prematurely with golden goal) so it was weird hoping neither team would score, and got my monies worth when the game was decided by penalties!!!!
