Relocating to the East Midlands for University meant i've been to the City Ground a number of times, however i've picked the most special game. In general though the atmosphere has been decent, the ground has great character and isn't one of these new empty shells. The location is decent as well, right by the trent, next to trent bridge cricket ground. On my first visit to the City Ground my Dad and I spent a day at Trent Bridge seeing kevin Pietersen hit a double century for Notts then wandered across the road to see Forest v Preston in the League Cup, 3-2 AET, cracking day!
