Game watched: Nigeria 2-2 Scotland

Visited Craven Cottage for the friendly international between Nigeria and Scotland, and was most impressed. It's a proper football stadium - the fans are close to the pitch and the stand roofs are fairly low, which helps create a fantastic atmosphere. I go to every Scotland away match; and the atmosphere at this game, even though it was just a friendly, was one of the best I've experienced - the stadium itself helped with that.

The location itself could be better, but that's not really an issue for me. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest Tube station (Putney Bridge), but around the station there are plenty of pubs, fast food places, and restaurants - and they're pretty reasonably priced for London!

I bought a programme, and while it wasn't Fulham's normal one due to it being the international game, it was excellent quality and I was most impressed. Nice and thick, plenty of features, and a high quality production. If that's what the programme for Fulham games is normally like, I'd highly recommend it.

All in all, Craven Cottage was an excellent experience, and one I'd recommend to anyone.
