Game watched: West Ham 1-0 Burnley

Four years on from a wonderful Olympic experience and it was finally time to enter the London Stadium for the first time.  Converted for football use, its original purpose still remains clear.  The London Stadium is a fantastic amphitheatre, but it lacked atmosphere as West Ham laboured past Burnley in a dour encounter.  Even the decisive penalty was scored on the rebound.  An impressive legacy of London 2012?  Certainly.  Somewhere for West Ham to feel at home?  Not for some time yet I suspect.
