Game watched: Plymouth Argyle 2-2 Portsmouth

The atmosphere was of a very enjoyable standard, however it must be pointed out that it may have been due to the fact there were a lot of our (Portsmouth) fans in attendance and that it was a big game, the attendance that day was a good few thousand more than their usual gate. The burger was very nice but could ever reach the same standard as that of Crawley and Leyton Orient. The game was highly entertaining, a late, what looked like a winning, volley from outside the box from Danny Rose made it 1-2 before the hosts equalised right at the death. Although it was a shame to go back home with only a point from a team we have developed a minor rivalry with in this league, it has to be said that it was a fair result. One thing to note about the stewards is that although they may have been simply following protocol, they did not want to let a good few hundred Pompey fans in the ground just ten minutes early as it was heaving with rain. Everybody was getting absolutely soaked and it would have been nice if they had a little bit of decency to get us in the warm for a little while. Not the end of the world and nothing major to ruin what has been one of my favourite away days.
