Game watched: Barnet 1-1 Portsmouth

A decent modernised version of a typical League Two ground with a newly opened away stand which housed a good amount of loud, proud Pompey fans. Although it was disappointing that the furnishings inside were unfinished, with paintwork yet to be done and insulation hanging out of walls that were yet to be built. For the second time in two seasons, Pompey had more fans at The Hive than the home team, Barnet had. The cheeseburger was similar to that at Leyton Orient, ready made and packed in an air-tight bag and started off with a good taste, however it got cold quick and it's safe to say I've had better. The stewards were well trained and done their job well and it was also nice to see they could take banterous songs directed at stewards who were celebrity lookalikes as well as pose for selfies with drunk fans, rather than push them away. Furthermore, it was a good sight for away fans as the Wembley Arch was visible in the background of the way we were facing, that added to the setting of the ground. An all round decent away day, would definitely do again!
