Awful game in terms of the performance of my supported club, however the result should not have a say in the rating of the Lamex Stadium. The atmosphere picked up from the home fans maybe two or theee times to my knowledge but considering the score-line and level of the team they beat, I would have expected the home fans to be a bit louder, as usual the Pompey faithful outsung the home fans! The location was okay, just a quick subway junction linking the ground to both the car parks and retail park, which had a Burger King and a Subway. There were little pubs nearby but the location made it easy for fans to exit quickly and jump on the motorway home. Not a bad little stadium, a poor pitch but just your average League Two stadium if I'm honest. The programme was of a better quality than I had expected and the stewarding was friendly, in fact we had a good 15 minute chat with one particular steward just about football in general. The burger was nice, nothing special, nothing to make it horrible. Another ground ticked off at the end of the day and one I will be hoping to forget as soon as possible!
