Game watched: Cambridge united 0-0 Stevenage

So a little 500 mile return trip down at Cambridge today with me mate Colin. The weather was warm and quite sunny with a slight breeze. Once we arrived we got our dugout picture done via a pre organised chat with club staff which Colin had sorted out. Then it was off to the club bar for a well earned pint ( lovely jubbly) the game was played in fine sunshine. Cambridge should have won the game having missed a few quite good chances. On the other side Stevenage only had one real chance from what I can remember and never put up much of a show. They did however pick up a few injurys, one was a stretcher case hope he is ok. Like I say Cambridge should have had the game in the bag but poor finishing would see the match end at 5pm 0-0 two home points dropped. There was a club house type thing just across from the ticket office where we went for a second pint but were refused entry due to the fact we were not members 😱😱😱 all in all we had a good trip out. Please try Codfarthers chip shop, not to far from the ground we had some bait before we went home and the staff & food were bloody great😊😊😊
