Game watched: Hartlepool United 0-2 Portsmouth

Another fair example of a typical League Two stadium is Victoria Park. A small but characteristic ground, all tight together and with some vast areas of terracing in the home ends makes the atmosphere just that bit better. As for the game, that was top class, from a Pompey fan's point of view at least. The burger however was disappointing and I did not like it as much as any other burger I have had at a ground before. It was tough and the taste really was boring. Not much to say about the stewarding other than they were quick to remove the inflatables from the field of play, to remove the possibility of one obstructing the ball being played (flashback to Sunderland vs Liverpool a few heats back). Oh and they also were lenient when a young Portsmouth fan ran on to the pitch as the team walked over to applaud the travelling faithful, allowing the lad to be with his heroes for a few minutes. Another ground ticked off the 92 and one that took a rather long time getting to, but it was so worth it. Most importantly, it made for another great day out!
