It's hard to judge the atmosphere of a ground when my first visit was for a Premier League 2 game between Under 23 sides. The same goes for value for money, food, programme and stewarding. I sat in the press area of the ground, where I was greeted with a small table to write notes, a small TV which on regular matchdays I imagine would show in-game highlights, and a very good view of the playing field. As a Pompey fan however, it would not be wise to give St. Mary's a rating too high. From the neutral, it would be harsh to put it too low as previously mentioned, it was only a reserve match. Nethertheless, another one of the 92 ticked off!
