Game watched: Mansfield Town 0-1 Portsmouth

The town of Mansfield, and the surrounding areas of the stadium, were very run down and created an eerie experience when walking around before and after the match. The ground itself, albeit having some character to it, was formed of only three stands in use, with the fourth an old run-down stand which was absolutely smothered in advertising boards, it was a complete eye-sore! The programme was very well put together, strong and sturdy and full of key information and not bombarded with adverts. My usual ritual of having a burger at the ground came to a miserable end as my last away-day burger of the season was disgusting. I did not enjoy it one bit, not tasty at all, the bun was way too filling and I actually threw half of it away as I couldn't stand it! A good day in terms of the result, despite a poor Pompey performance, but not a memorable one when it comes to rating the ground, location and food.
