Me and my son had a day out down at Deepdale today. We left home in Stanley at around 10-30 or so, had the odd mishap with road works but that's me all over. Got onto the A66 and it started to lash down. From there onto the M6 into Preston, I had used a just park app to book our parking spot cost £5-00 at the football ground it's £15-00!!!!! The game was played out in bright sunshine (no coats!! ) before the game me & Jordan got a box of chips from the bait van outside £2-00 a box. Newcastle took the lead but could not hold on or add to it and surprise surprise Preston popped one in. Loads of changes but the game ended 1-1 a fair result. I know it was only a pre season game but Newcastle will have to do a lot better than that if they expect to put points on the board.
