Similar the stadium:mk, the Ricoh is a large bowl-like arena which is a hugely impressive piece of architecture but a very sparsely populated piece of architecture. The home fans erupt when the ball hits the net, but there is little in terms of sustained, hostile atmosphere which struggles to be created in a stadium like the Ricoh.
