Game watched: Shrewsbury town 1-0 Northampton town

Me & colin ride again, this time away at Shrewsbury town who were taking on Northampton town. 8.40 the start time of our little jaunt. Getting down was not to bad we hit a few 50mph zones and the odd patch of heavy traffic but in the main it passed by quite quickly. Not to sure what time we arrived at the ground due to the fact it was pelting down and we were more interested in getting parked up. Once out of the car the sun came out, get in!!! After a quick chat with a member of staff we were shown where the match ref + linesmen ect were based. We were offered tea or coffee and there was a selection of sarnies on offer. It was nice to sit relax and have a pre match chat before the game. The game itself was played out in mostly bright sunshine with just a little dark cloud not to far away. The game was not to bad, but looked like a 0-0 all day. as we all know football is not over until the fat lady sings and today she sung for Shrewsbury who pipped the game 1-0 and bagged the 3 points. After the final whistle it was back in the old jam jar and back home for tea & medals. A big thank you to all who helped to make it another cracking day. All the best for the season ahead for Shrewsbury town.
