The experience of The New York Stadium was reasonably good.  Although the stadium access was somewhat tucked away, it was relatively easy to find.  Fromt the outside it did not feel that big.  The club shop was well priced and had plenty available.  Entry was via the electronic turnstiles and we found the staff friendly.  We did not manage to get any concessions within the stadium as there was rather long queues.  Inside the stadium, the seat was well set out, although it was steep. The stadium was less than 50% full and as a result the atmosphere suffered, but the fans made plenty of noise.
