Game watched: Wigan Athletic 1-1 Portsmouth

The atmosphere at the DW was atrocious, the ground was half empty with fans spread out as far as they could be. Fair play however to the small ultra group at the top of the East Stand, who produced some noise at times. The ground itself was smart and, despite having four similar stands, I felt was characteristic and again, smart. I was disappointed with the lack of burgers on sale on the concourse, apparently they don't sell them - just pasties and pies on offer. The programme was also one of the best I have picked up on an away day, and quite possibly better than our own. Finally, just a note to add that we deserved to lose the game and could've lost up to 5/6-0, but rode our luck and snatched a point. The away end atmosphere was ecstatic with the 76th minute Conor Chaplin equaliser, equally matched with abuse towards former manager Paul Cook, who had recently left us for today's opponents. All in all, another class day!
