Game watched: Scunthorpe United 2-0 Portsmouth

The atmosphere was appalling, the only song we heard the home fans sing was "Can you hear the Pompey sing...", which was quite ironic considering we had sung almost non-stop and that was their only contribution. The location was decent and close to some friendly pubs, food francises and shopping centres. The programme was really smart and well put together, and the character of the ground impressed me. It was tight and the stands were close to the action, which in my books sends it's ratings right up! The stewarding was okay but at one point a steward was stood directly in front of a disabled fan, who couldn't then see the play, and when asked if he could move or duck down, he said no and that it's tough, he had to be there. Another note was that, despite the poor performance and result, it was a class away day due to me being called on to the pitch to represent my club in a challenge against the home fans, one which I won. The reception I got celebrating the victory and rising back in to the away end afterwards was spine-tingling to say the least!
