Game watched: Blackburn Rovers 3-0 Portsmouth

We won’t talk about the game itself... The ground was nice, big, and of Premier League quality. The atmosphere however was dire, you wouldn’t have thought that Blackburn had been a top-flight side no more than 5/6 years previous, as only 9,000 home fans turned up in a 31,000+ capacity ground and provided little to no noise. I’d give the character a 3, it’s not a bowl and it’s a nice, big and spacious ground, with four different style stands. I had a chicken and balti pie, it was on another planet, cheap too at only £2.80, but marked down only on the fact that you needed a chisel to break through the top layer of pastry - it was rock solid. The programme was small and the front cover was poorly constructed, I’ve seen better made covers in non-league! Finally, the stewarding, nothing particularly good or bad to point out but high ratings for the steward who tripped over the advertising boards while running towards a pitch-invading fan.
