Lewis Evans visited New York Stadium on 18/11/2017

Game watched: Rotherham United 1-2 Shrewsbury Town

What a day! My first Salop away win in 23 months and for it to be done with a last winner minute meant it was a day which will be remembered as one of my favourite as a Salopian. The view from the away end is good, and the stand is strangely steep which proved a slight problem when running down at the final whistle to embrace the joyous players but oh well! The stadium is built well, with the roof's staggered structure adding a unique feature to a ground which could be a generic modern ground but a number of little touches make it feel more than that. A top away day, with good train connections.
