The Abax may be the home of the 'worst seats in the football league!'. The wooden seats and the inch of leg room is a rather frustating feature of the Abax but I feel this is compensated for by the extremely low roof which allows the away fans to make a real racket! The ground reminded me of the County Ground at Swindon, being a similar mishmash of stands, including a terrace which contains what seems the majority of the home season ticket holders. The leg room may have been annoying but the main gut wrenching annoyance of the day was that it marked the end of Salop's 16 match unbeaten run which provided a time brimmed with happiness around the mighty Meadow!
