Game watched: Doncaster 3-0 Scunthorpe United

First game at the Keepmoat was a brilliant one. A 1-0 win against Donny with Lee Novak popping a header in the far post leaving the goalie no chance to save. Brilliant performace from the boys and was one of the first derbies ever experienced. Didn't feel like a rivalry however, both teams gave each other too much respect and a lot of time on the ball but nevertheless Scunthorpe got a victory at a hostile place.

Second game was the complete opposite. Was a second round FA Cup tie which ended in a 3-0 defeat for the boys in claret and blue. Evident that we didn't want to take it seriously which is a big shame, would love to see us go on a mental cup run like some of these non league teams love to do. However we were in danger at the time and surviving the league was definitely our main priority.

Third time was a game I attended with my Dad in the Man United end watching their youngsters playing the second string Donny team. Man U kids disappointed as well as Donny however the big time Mason Greenwood cropped up with a very late winning goal which was scored at a ridiculous angle. Showed a glimpse of his talent there but before the goal he had a poor game much like many of the youngsters
