Game watched: Barnsley 1-3 FULHAM

Our trip started from Meadowhall and we caught the train, which was a short journey.  The walk to stadium from the station was very simple and took around 10 minutes.  From the outside parts of Oakwell looked traditional, where as other parts looked very modern.  After collecting tickets and the visit to the club shop we entered the stadium.  There was a large concourse under the stand we sat in which was available to fans both in upper or lower sections.  My only dissapointment was that the local brewery (Acorn) beers weren't available.  Clubs should do more to support local industries!!  Seating wise we sat on the front row of the upper section, the veiws were generally good, although there were rails that caught you out occasionaly.  There was enough leg room, but the width of the seats were tightly packed!  The game was one on edge for long periods and that helped to create a good atmopshere from both sets of fans.
