Game watched: Port Vale 2-1 Chesterfield

Vale Park was a nice ground to visit, it had character and really reflected your typical traditional football ground, with no modern features attached, which made the whole experience interesting. It also had a good enough atmosphere considering the position in the League Two table Port Vale sat in at the time. I enjoyed my trip there and the cheap £8 ticket was well worth it. The programme was a good standard for division four football and mixed old with new on the front cover. Finally, the stewarding was of a good standard, they let us in no problem despite having a Portsmouth flag in a carrier bag which we needed to take in due to being unable to check into our hotel before the match - they trusted us enough to not display it at any point when they could have made the situation awkward for us!
