20th May 2010 Morecambe 2-1 Dagenham and Redbridge. The Shrimpers managed to win on their last competitive game at Christie Park in the League 2 play offs. The club surpassed expectations to finish the season 4th, but after a 6-0 first leg defeat away the 2nd leg was purely academic about who would progress to the final. Morecambe did manage to win though, with David Artell scoring the winning goal in the first minute of injury time.
