Game watched: Swindon town 1-0 Peterborough utd
Not a fan of these evening games but for the price of the game it had to be done. Due to it being the Vertu trophy the downside was only 1 stand was really open. Great huge hotdog for a fiver though.

Game watched: Crawley town 2-0 Gillingham
Was intrigued here on seats we had bought as when doing a bit of research i discovered they put this stand up in something like a week. Of course we found out its literally a temporary scaffold structure. Not a good game but 2 late goals saved us of our 1st 0-0.
Hotspur jon visited Vale Park on 23/08/2025
Game watched: Port vale 0-1 Doncaster rovers
Of our 18 games so far this sticks out as the worst game we have been too. So few chances and no real quality on show. Managed to get a decent chicken balti pie at halftime though and had a pint in the social club at the ground after the game. Liked the statue of John rudge.
Hotspur jon visited Pirelli Stadium on 11/10/2025
Game watched: Burton albion 3-0 Bolton wanderers
Very close to the pitch our seats it actually felt like you could touch it. This game stands out as i remember buying the smallest chicken balti pie of all time at half time, literally half the size of my hand and gone in 3 bites. £5 for the priveledge too.
Hotspur jon visited Oakwell on 22/11/2025
Game watched: Barnsley 5-0 Luton town
So with being over the 3 hour rule this was to be our 1st stay over game and location of the premier inn right in the city centre about 15 minute walk away from the ground. We were treated to a emphatic Barnsley win and this set the tone for the night. Great night out followed.
Hotspur jon visited Bet365 Stadium on 15/02/2026
Game watched: Stoke city 1-2 Fulham
For our visit it wasnt a rainy windy day in Stoke, the complete opposite really. Nice clear skies though a bit on the chilly side. Loved the statues of Sir Stanley mathews and Gordon banks outside the ground.
Hotspur jon visited Kenilworth Road on 03/04/2026
Game watched: Luton town 2-1 Peterborough utd
So excited to get this iconic ground done before Luton move. It certainly didnt disapoint, so unique in design and literally squeezed in between terrace houses. Loved evry minute of this day out apart from a long walk with no boozers until we got to the city centre and found the weatherspoons.
Hotspur jon visited Cardiff City Stadium on 11/03/2025
Game watched: Cardiff city 1-2 Luton town
Dreadful 2 hour 40 minute drive on a Tuesday evening for a short drive over the severn bridge from Bristol. Took ages to leave the place too with these dreadful 20mph zones through Wales. Nice ground, horrible pint of carling cider (never again).
Hotspur jon visited Ashton Gate on 21/09/2025
Game watched: Bristol city 1-3 Oxford utd
Local game for us so didnt really seem like a day out. Good bit of history to be read about the Ashton gate 8 who saved the club, found that interesting. Atmosphere was non existant. Expensive tickets for a championship game too.
Hotspur jon visited Molineux on 25/05/2025
Game watched: Wolves 1-1 Brentford
Good easy location. Think the Wolves fans on this day had a off day, wasnt overly impressed with their chants.
Hotspur jon visited London Stadium on 11/01/2026
Game watched: West ham 2-1 QPR
Great day out and good value tickets as it was a FA cup game. View and atmosphere was beeter than i expected considering this ground gets slaughtered for being so far away from the pitch, it never was a issue.

Little trek from the station, but the ground is great. Even then, Accrington itself is a cheap and charming day out. Goes hard on the local options for pints and food, always appreciated. Stands are tight, but not oppressive. Went in the league 1 days, so away fans (Derby County) nearly outnumbered home when I went. Quite funny seeing them in the awful away end
Matt2574 visited Holker Street (The Progression Solicitors Stadium)
Massive pain to get there, even coming from the Scottish Broders. Can't see the town, no pints in the stand I was in, only the inevitability of 3 hours back to Carlisle awaiting me. Ground is very non-league, but lacks the charm. At least the train journey up has lovely scenery...

Please sell pints in the concourse proper. Otherwise excellent in all regards.

Awful. £7.90 for a fosters, shit pricing + shit pints about as bad as it gets. Other options exist, but prices are obscene. Stadium is impressive on an architectural level, but that's all pointless when you need binoculars to watch the match
Matt2574 visited Ewood Park
Docked a few points for Blackburn itself - the stadium itself is actually a good day out, lots of options for fans in and out of the concourse. If only Blackburn central had anything going on...
