Burnley got a shock 3-0 win - it was very wet and windy which made the four hour journey home a little bit uncomfortable.
If you are going, part in Lewes and catch the train in.
Very poor in terms of access by car.

The long trip to Brighton started at 1.30am leaving the house to meet up with like minded people to enjoy a day out in the sun watching football & a few beers. That was only good bit!!!
We set off from Newcastle at 5.30am & the trip down was uneventful with some lads singing and others chatting that type of thing. The ground looked clean & fresh as though the wrapping had just been peeled off in readiness for the new season. The game form a Newcastle point of view was awful, the first half consisted of Newcastle being sloppy with the ball, bad passing and no real communication between the players. How we got to half time at 0-0 I will never know. The second half was even worse than the first & the less said the better!! The game ended 0-0 God knows how? Brighton should have taken all 3 points. So I got on the bus at 5.15 we left the ground at 5.30 and got home at wait for it!!! 4.20 in the morning 1. after taking a wrong turn following another bus.
Getting a rear wheel flat tyre & waiting at the services which put us back another 1& half /2 hours.
3. Massive traffic jam due to 3 out of 4 lanes being closed off. Not to mention some bell end kept rolling back in their and hit the front of our bus, and yet another bell end who thought once I put my signal on can the then just move across the lanes even if there is no space to do so and he smashed his drivers side mirror to bits last but not least another car towing a caravan had a wobble and almost side swiped the bus. What day!!!!!
