A closer look at the City Ground

Set on the banks of the Trent, neighbouring the famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground and Meadow Lane, the home of local rivals Notts County, the City Ground is one footballs greatest locations. Whilst the ground has been home to the Reds for over 100 years, redevelopment in the 1990’s means that the facilities are fairly modern, that is with the exception of the Main Stand which looks tired and old fashioned. Hello, and welcome to the92.net! This website was born from the need of three football lovers to embrace a challenge that not many will achieve, to visit all 92 football league grounds. It’s an ambitious mission, one that will take a lifetime not a season but it’s one that over the years we would like to move closer to achieving. We agreed to start the journey whilst arranging to see an FA Cup third round tie in the 2010/11 season. Why not?
