After that May crazy night in Moscow, rumours were rife that Ronaldo wanted a transfer to Real Madrid. The media were obsessed by it, but it came to nothing. Record signing Dimitar Berbatov joined with minutes to go on transfer deadline day. Promising full backs, Fabio and Rafael, the soon to be sold Tosic and De Laet from Stoke also joined the ranks. Fulham 2-0 Hull Fulham have shown real signs of some fight since winning at Villa Park and their run in on paper gives them a great chance of survival. Hull haven’t managed a single point on the road since battering Cardiff 0-4 two months ago. I fancy Fulham to take this one 2-0. Stoke 1-3 Tottenham correct result 2 points Following their toothless thrashing at Anfield Spurs seem to have found their shooting boots, hitting the back of the net 11 times in the 3 subsequent matches. Stoke have been on a decent run of form themselves, I think Spurs… Read more »

Fergie’s Fault, Moyes Out – The Glazer Invasion – Part 1 of 3

Luhzniki Stadium before the Final in 2008

In the first of a three part series the92.net co-founder Michael Moss speaks about the recent goings ons at Old Trafford; Fergie’s Fault, Moyes Out – The Glazer Invasion David Moyes is no longer manager of Manchester United. It was a rather sharp, yet predictable exit. In truth the demise of Manchester United started debatably many years ago, not with the appointment of David Moyes, however, the sheer class between arguably the best manager that ever lived and Moyes was too much to cover the cracks that Ferguson had been papering over for a number of years previously. The aim… Read more »

Aston Villa 1-0 Southampton I’m torn on this one, Southampton have been very up and down over the last few months struggling for consistency and Villa’s home form in general has been awful. Both sides are missing key players; Benteke for Villa and Rodriguez possibly Boruc still for Saints. Regardless of form if memory serves me correct Saints have a terrible record at Villa Park and i’ll think the home side will sneak a 1-0 win. Cardiff 2-2 Stoke correct result 2 points Stoke have been one of the form sides in the league over the last couple of months… Read more »
