This week saw the safe standing/rail seating movement in England and Wales take a huge step forward in Shropshire. League One side Shrewsbury Town went live with their initiative to fan-fund the first safe standing installation in the 92. Interview: we speak to the FSF about Twenty’s Plenty

On the 12th November a delegation of fans led by the Football Supporters Federation delivered a letter to Premier League clubs calling for a cap of £20 on all away tickets. This in is line with the FSF’s Twenty’s Plenty Campaign which has been running since January 2013. Football fans to have their say on Safe Standing

The Welsh Conservatives have this week launched a public consultation on ‘safe standing’ as they seek to build a case for a limited pilot in Wales. They want to hear the views of football fans throughout the United Kingdom. The consultation follows the success of a Conservative led cross-party motion in the National Assembly in July, which saw the Assembly becoming the first UK legislature to formally back safe standing. It is also backed by the Football Supporters Federation and the Safestanding Roadshow. FSF’s Safe Standing Campaign back in the news

The Football Supporters’ Federation’s Safe Standing Campaign is back in the news thanks to a stream of clubs who have come out in support of the FSF’s plans and an MP’s Early Day Motion (EDM) in Parliament calling for safe standing trials to be allowed.
